We're the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham’s (H&F’s) ‘The Economy’ Service Area and we are responsible for the collection of data on the civic campus microsite.

What we collect and process

We only use data you’ve given us directly.

When you sign up to our newsletter, we will collect this data about you:

• email address
• We collect cookies data via our website. This detail is found in the cookies management tool when you visit the website to select your preferences.

Newsletter and updates sign up:

We will only collect email addresses to share information with you that you have asked us to share such as newsletters and other updates relating to the civic campus.

Cookies data is used to enhance your experience on our website and to make pages more functional.

Our legal basis for processing your data is that we have your clear, positive, and freely given consent to process it (6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

• You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
• If you withdraw your consent, we’ll stop processing your data.
• This means you will no longer receive our newsletter or updates relating to the civic campus

• Clicking: on the unsubscribe button on any newsletter that we send to you.

Who we share it with

We share your data with our suppliers who help us deliver our service:

• IT Service provider ‘Dot Digital’ provides our communications and marketing platform where your data will be held. We only process your data in the European Union (EU)

How do we keep the data secure?

We have appropriate security measures to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost or used or accessed unlawfully. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine need to access it. We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for one year or up to the date that you unsubscribe. When we no longer need your data, we’ll dispose of it securely or, if it’s of historic interest, we’ll transfer it to our local archives service.
